This workshop is for women at least 18-years of age with a desire to assist other women in having a positive birth experience.  It is excellent training for those who wish to work as a birth doula or serve as a doula for friends and relatives.  It is also appropriate for registered nurses interested in enhancing their labor support techniques using evidence-based practice.  This workshop is DONA International approved training.  A certificate of completion will be provided.

The workshop takes place on a single weekend including Friday evening (5:45 PM - 9:30 PM), Saturday (7:45 AM - 5:15 PM) and Sunday (7:45 AM - 5:15 PM).  One workshop is typically scheduled in the Spring and another in the Fall each year.

Workshops are held in our large, comfortable home located in the Southwest section of the City of Saint Louis in the beautiful Clifton Heights Neighborhood. Map to BirthNBabies Home Classroom

Those attending from outside the St. Louis area may wish to stay at a nearby hotel.  There are many excellent restaurants in the area, especially if you enjoy Italian cuisine with The Hill Neighborhood only a block away.  Where to Stay

The registration fee includes four meals and five snacks as well as a training manual binder for notetaking and future reference.  Registration is limited to 20.  Workshops must have a minimum of 6 registrants.  All registrations must be accompanied by full payment.  Cancellation by BirthNBabies will result in a full refund.  Cancellation by registrants at least 10 days prior to the workshop will receive a full refund.  Cancellations by registrants less than 10 days prior will receive a refund less $75.  There will be no refund offered after the workshop materials have been purchased, 2 days prior to the first day.
